가톨릭대학교 여의도성모병원 정신건강의학과 우영섭 교수가 9월 8일(금) 밀레니엄 서울 힐튼 호텔에서 개최된 대한정신약물학회 추계학술대회 총회에서 대한정신약물학회 오츠카 학술상을 받았다.
우 교수는 최근 3년간 대사성 증후군과 우울장애의 치료 반응의 연관성을 입증한 ‘Association of treatment response with obesity and other metabolic risk factors in adults with depressive disorders: Results from a National Depression Cohort study in Korea’, 양극성장애에서 기존 치료로 충분히 치료되지 않은 아임상적(subclinical) 증상의 치료 방안을 탐색한 ‘Effects of switching to aripiprazole from current atypical antipsychotics on subsyndromal symptoms and tolerability in patients with bipolar disorder’ 등 1저자 논문 14편을 포함한 30편의 정신약물 관련 논문을 SCI급 국제학술지에 발표하여 국내 정신약물학 분야의 발전에 기여한 점을 인정받았다.
